Lumous lighting has for many years been offering luminaires that allow not only the light output but also the colour of the light to be adjusted to suit the conditions. The Natura collection was inspired by Lumous’ projects in the Netherlands, where nature conservation laws have long guided street lighting to adapt to the surrounding nature.
The Natura range is always equipped with 2 to 4 different coloured LED chains and a control system that allows you to control the different coloured LEDs independently of each other. The most common colours used, in addition to white, are orange and red. By using these LEDs together, the light produced by a single luminaire can be used to provide animals with optimal golden brown (1800K) at night, soothing yellow (2500K), and the standard colours for street lighting from warm to cool white (3000K to 4000K), and of course everything in between.
Natura, which enables multicolour control, is widely used, for example. The city of Maastricht, as well as the Dutch authorities responsible for local infrastructure and water management. VP1011i Natura has been in service in several locations for more than 5 years. At the request of customers, the product’s “big brother”, the VP1012i Natura, was launched last year, which can do practically everything, but offers even greater light output, even enough to illuminate motorways.
The Natura range is available in a wide range of wattages, colours and light distributions, and always comes standard with a versatile Zhaga control option. The amount of light output depends on the luminaire type and options, but starts at 4,500lm and goes up to well over 20,000 lumens at the top end.
